I’m writing this Saturday night, we’re tired of driving and found an RV park with WiFi in Clarkston, Washington. There is a loud rock concert going on in the park next to us, Collective Soul, I remember them. And ABC has brought back robot battles, BattleBots. Now that’s good TV!
Wifi here is not that great, but at least I’m not using my cellphone data plan.
After Logans Run and the Avalanche hike/run we spent a couple of days driving around the park and riding bikes a little bit.
There was a pick-a-nic lunch by St. Mary Lake at Rising Sun, Boo-boo:
Biking along lake McDonald (That’s me on the bike, center)
Stopping at the river along Going to the Sun Road. This river feeds McDonald Lake. There are some great spots to stop along the road to get in the water or fish. I like splashing in the water near the fishermen.
Rushing stream Video from Avalanche hike!
Pano shot of the roadside river.
And on one, 4–wheel drive, back road excursion we found a few people picking raspberries. A favorite food of Grizzlies! So we stopped and grabbed a small bag full too. There were so many raspberries we could pick them right from the car window… Bag a few, eat a few. Eat a few, bag a few.
We really enjoyed this park.
