Sometimes, if we are to succeed and win victory, the Lord has to be the One to fight the battle. In some ways, it directed how our future turned out. So, this Bible study will include some reading of the Word to give you peace and confidence in your God. The victory that we are expecting is in our hands, the healing, miracles and great favor are in our hands. It is not yours to fight. Although we do see victories from God in our past, sometimes we tend to forget them when a new struggle arrives. Lyrics. This is the way it must be to win the victory over sins. Who will cross the Jordan in front of the Israelites? That battle must be the Lord's! And with reference to death, and eternity, God is the only One who can make a difference! Have you ever heard the phrase “the battle is the Lord’s”? All our distress and worry came from an actual conflict that is not our problem. It’s not the prelude. Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD before the new court, and he said, 'O LORD, the God of our fathers, are You not God in the heavens? The Battle Is Not Yours Verses. They went out and faced their enemy, and the Lord gave them victory as they watched their enemy's alliance fall apart and the former allies attack one another. We find ourselves in a very similar circumstance, and that is not by accident. THE BATTLE IS NOT OURS BUT THE LORD’S According 1 Samuel 17:47, the battle is not ours but the LORD’S. Who will be with them when they receive possession of the land? So often we approach God with our battles (problems and struggles) big and small. Don’t feel that you are alone in the fight against the devil. The battle is God’s battle. This battle is our battle, and we plead to God for help with our battle. It hurt us, it affected us, it bruised us, it wounded us. David plainly states for the battle is the Lord’s battle. He had destroyed Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites for the Israelites. Recognize that He is a God who is able to know our needs even beyond what we know ourselves! When the truth is the actual battle is for God to conquer, not us. Our role is to serve him in this battle. You will not need to fight in this battle. It hurt us, it affected us, it bruised us, it wounded us. Tomorrow march down against them. We ask for his support and assistance during our trial or difficulty. the biggest battle that we are faced with in this life, is ourselves. Tell me why because I can't see my way through. We live in the midst of people without hope, regardless of race or socioeconomic status. I picture this powerful king, standing in front of all of his province, humbly confessing to God: “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.”I can’t think of a better prayer for us in the coming days.
