Good news! I’ve been concerned that all this hiking and running around may be deleterious to my physique. Although the Aria WiFi weight/body fat scale is not intelligent enough to account for the extra gravitational pull created by the mountainous region I am in, according to my new Aria it appears that I have been successful in sufficiently replenishing those lost calories. I’ve had to exert extra effort in the “replenishment” arena.
I bought my original Aria about a year and a half ago. It is made by Fitbit, it talks to your home network and automatically uploads your weight and body fat readings to your online, fitbit account. It has been great for plotting a chart of me never losing weight. When combined with my uploaded fitbit Flex step tracker data I can crossplot my weight with my never increasing exercise logs (The chart is just a couple of flat lines).
However, since we’ve been living in the RV I haven’t been able to get the Aria to recognize the RV WiFi network. No data uploads have been happening. I finally contacted Fitbit support and after a few trials they sent me a brand new Aria! Yeah. They were able to send it to me in Glacier National Park, but the park lodge refused to accept it, so I had to drive to the FedEx shipping office in Kalispell to pick it up… not a problem.
Now I can weigh myself each morning again and keep my flat lines up to date!
Also, there is plenty of room for the scale in the roomy, RV lavatory!
