Today (Thurs July 16, 2015) we went for a short hike at the top of Logan’s Pass in Glacier National Park along he Hidden Lake trail. The red dots represent roughly how far we made it.
It started out beautifully, nice and cool with just enough sunflower seeds in my pocket for a short 3 mile round trip walk. It ended up being… Logan’s Run!
About 20 minutes into the hike storm clouds began rolling in… nothing to worry about… let’s keep going honey?!
Believe us, it was far worse than it looks in this video… the little hail pellets HURT! It was blowing in from our left side HARD! We were FREEZING!
We endured 20 long minutes of freezing torture and pain while running back to the Info Center! Enjoy the video…
The marital bliss meter just clicked down a few notches.
Ha ha! Actually, just the opposite. I was her storm shield for most of the un- recorded run..
Ahh, just the way I remember mt summers!!
That was fun – after it was over… we’ll return when we can make it to hidden lake.. I’m bringing a pack full of winter gear this time 🙂
